it’s about time

we stop questioning physics or maths,

those quiet sciences

that take care of themselves

with heavy laws,

with proof,

with the slow grace of the scientific method.

Maybe it’s time

we read beyond the highlights,

look past the headlines,

ask why some are called terrorists

and others lonely wolves.

Maybe we start learning history,

not the polished kind,

but the one whispered

by those who were never asked.

Maybe we talk to our neighbour

instead of judging them.

Maybe — only maybe —

we question the voices

that blame the ones in need

and protect the oppressors,

the real thieves.

Stop fighting for the crumbs.
